PRIMARY PURPOSE:

On an as-needed basis, provide quality police service that will include maintaining a safe environment conducive to learning and contributing to the education process for students.  Provide for the safety of students, faculty, staff, and the security of all district and campus property.  Officer will strive for the highest levels of integrity and professionalism for his/her chosen profession of law enforcement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

College hours desired

Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards & Education (TCLEOSE) certified

Valid TX/AR driver’s license

Special Knowledge/Skills:

General knowledge of criminal investigation, police report writing, and

Juvenile Laws and Criminal Laws of Texas Penal Code

Experience:

Two years of law enforcement or related experience

Schedule:

Part-time/As Needed Position
